- With headquarters in Oklahoma City’s Presbyterian Health Center, Inoveon was started in 1997 and evolved from The University of Oklahoma’s Center for Telemedicine.
Excel Energy Technologies
Excel Energy Technologies provides wireless facility monitoring and control services and energy management for the restaurant and retail industry. Through the use of proprietary software and specialized sensing and control equipment the company can help customers reduce energy costs by up to 30% annually, with an average savings of between 10-20% for most customers and a payback of one year or less.
In addition to energy cost savings Excel can alert customers prior to critical equipment failures and warranty expirations, helping to reduce down time, facility closure and also reducing maintenance expenses through preventative care. Amber Waves is designing new lines of jewelry that will be branded into other retail outlets including the big box stores.
Altheus Therapeutics
Altheus Therapeutics is a drug development company developing a combination drug to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). IBD is a chronic disease with no cure and has two forms, ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). UC is mainly a disease of the colon while CD can affect the entire digestive track. The combination drug is Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
Founded in 2006 with its headquarters in Oklahoma City the Company has completed two animal studies and will now begin Phase I and II human clinical trails.
